Note from Evelyn: I recall how difficult it was to lose weight. I had gained to being over 160 pounds and did not even recognize myself in a negative of a photograph! Then I became REALLY concerned after learning my 2 hour post test for a blood glucose test was high and an indication of prediabetes. I did not succeed in losing weight until I found, with God’s help, the high protein diet, low carbohydrate meal plan advocated by Dr. Atkins.
